HOW TO FIND US

TYDDYN LLAN

SERIOUS ROADWORKS

The main B4401 road to Tyddyn Llan and Llandrillo is closed for a few weeks. Major Welsh Water project. Open again from 13 February, we are told.

Normally we’re just under an hour from Chester. 1½ hours from central Manchester and Liverpool. But now you must add on about 35 mins. Sorry.

The problem is for clients coming to us from the A5 and A494. That’s from the North-East, North, and anywhere East.

There are diversion signs BUT they send you down narrow single-track lanes for over 6 miles. Fine until you meet a farm vehicle or truck coming the over way!

We do NOT recommend you take the signed diversion from the A5.

THE ADVISED ROUTE

Follow the A5 West to the A494 junction (about 1.5 miles). Turn left onto the A494, going South-West through Druid, Glan-yr-afon, Bethel, Sarnau and Cefn-ddwysarn (about 8 miles). Just before reaching Llanfor, take a left turn onto the B4401. Then just continue on the B4401 to Llandrillo and us (about 7 miles).

About halfway, you will cross the River Dee and past the Bryntirion Inn, as landmarks. This is a longer diversion than the official one, but much easier. About 35 mins. total diversion time.

We promise you a warm welcome when you get here!
